FIRST ASIAN CONFERENCE ON DUCHENNE MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY (DMD) In BANGALORE , Karnataka, India. On 28th of February and 1st of March 2009 (Saturday & Sunday) United Parent Projects Muscular Dystrophy (UPPMD) will sponsor a Conference for parents of boys diagnosed with Duchenne and Becker Muscular Dystrophy and their clinicians in the Asian region.
This Conference will be held in Bangalore on 28th of February and 1st of March 2009.
The aim of this Conference is to empower and inform PARENTS and clinicians about Diagnostics, State of the art care, Research and Clinical trials. PARENTS will have the opportunity to meet and listen to researchers, clinicians and experts in the field from all over the world.
Also the PARENTS will learn the importance of working together with Duchenne families from around the world by becoming a part of the Global Duchenne Community.
UPPMD invites everybody who feels it is important to CHANGE the future for Duchenne boys in their country, especially the Parents, Family Members and Clinicians!
You will learn ways to help your son now and in the future. You will find new friends! You will find strength!!
